ORGANIZERS

Meet Bassam Kubba & Mendel Romanenko.

These two met in 2014 during an AcroYoga class in the home of the original NY Acrofest! Despite their respective Muslim & Jewish upbringings, they quickly become closest friends. Soon after, they began performing and running community projects together. The unique style of flow between these same-size humans expresses more than just tricks.  It shows it's not where we come from that defines us but who we choose to be.

Thank you for your participation. We wouldn’t be here if not for you. Thank you for creating, playing and communicating authentically.

Thank you for co-creating this community with us, for having fun and bringing your own unique brand of magic. We couldn’t do it without you, and for that we are grateful.

Thank you for being self reliant and properly hydrating and fueling yourself.

Thank you for being mindful of how your actions may affect others.

Thank you for being aware. If you see something, Spot something. Be mindful of yourself and others around you. Whenever something doesn’t seem right, spot it or speak up.

Thank you for respecting others. Please do not pass judgement on someone’s Skills, gender, race  or their sexual identity. All participants are invited to safely enjoy their fullest expression.

Thank you for respecting boundaries and asking for consent by making yourself clear to others and asking others about their boundaries. Ask before you hug and acro and it’s okay to say no and accepting it. Remember we are all here to learn and share so embody love and let go of that judgment.

Thank you for Leaving A Positive Trace. Thank you for helping us to uphold a sacred space by committing to removing any unnecessary items off the mats and clean the space. whether it’s your water bottle or half snack you left behind.
