What is the difference between 1st, 2nd, & final release tickets?"

Accepted Answer

All 3 tickets provide access the exact same weekend activities and perks (Friday Pre-Festival Intensives are NOT included).
 
The only difference is price.  
 
A limited number of first tickets are released. Once they sell out, "second release tickets" are released. Once those sell out too, the "final release tickets"  are available until event sells out.
 
So the sooner you buy, the more you save. This system helps us include those who can't afford the full priced ticket and also helps us with planning. 
 
Tickets will be available at the door will be at the highest price, provided tickets aren't sold out.

What is included in a "Festival Ticket?" What are "Perks?""

Accepted Answer

In addition to the all day classes during the weekend, a two day festival ticket and Saturday single day ticket include activities called "perks." A Sunday single day ticket does NOT include these perks.*
 
Perks NY AcroFest offers this year:
1) Acro bingo (Friday, 5:30pm-8pm at Bryant Park)
2) LoFi Party (Saturday, 8-11pm at Om Factory)
3) Mega Jam (Sunday 4-8pm,  FREE for ALL)

What is the Pre-Festival Friday Intensive?

These day-long intensives will be held on Friday, July 21 (~10:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
There will be 2 open-level workshops to choose from.
One intensive will be L-basing and the other Standing Acro, both hosted at Sixth Floor Loft (The following 2 days will be at a different location).
There will be a lunch break. 
 
This type of programming allows one to go in deeper into a subject and really connect with these internationally recognized teachers' practice.
 
To keep these intensives concentrated and focused, there is LIMITED room per workshop available. Get tickets sooner than later.

Can I come without an acro partner?

Absolutely.
There are many benefits training with just one partner. However, no partner is necessary to join the festival! There are many more benefits to work with lots of new people and connect in this playful setting.
NY AcroFest deeply values the community aspect of AcroYoga. You will have the option to partner up with different people throughout the festival. You may also choose to work with a prior partner.

Do I need to have previous experience in acroyoga to join?

Not at all!
However, it helps to have previous experience. That will get you the most out of the festival. There will be classes ranging from beginner to holy sh*t!
 
Try an open level class that welcomes everyone with or without any previous experience. 
Start practicing now to enjoy more!

Where will NY AcroFest 2023 be held?

The event will be held at Chelsea Piers Field House, an iconic Manhattan gymnasium. Many great olympic athletes have gone through Chelsea Piers training programs. 
 
While NY AcroFest is unaffliated with Chelsea Piers programing, we are honored to share this space.

Ticket Transfer: I purchased a ticket but something came up and I can't make it. What do I do?

Tickets are non-refundable. 
However, they are 100% transferable.

The protocol goes as follows. 
 
After the original buyer finds someone to transfer the ticket and the sale is complete, we need the original ticket holder to email us (Acrofest.ny@gmail.com) ((Acrofest.ny@gmail.com))

1) Their full name (original ticket holders name)
    AND the NEW ticket holder’s 
1) Full Name 
2) Email
3) Phone number (Preferred) 
 
Following which, the new ticket holder should receive a new ticket with their name to the email which the seller has provided.
